Dr. William (Scott) Harris has over 22 years of experience managing, developing, implementing, and delivering advanced IT and cybersecurity solutions and consulting services for a wide range of commercial, educational, and governmental entities as part of the CTSI team. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics and Mathematics from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He later received his Doctoral Degree in Applied Physics from Texas Tech University during which time he served as a NASA Research Fellow working at NASA’s Glenn Research Center and Texas Tech University’s Pulsed Power Laboratory on electric spacecraft propulsion and platform guidance technologies.
Prior to coming to CTSI, Dr. Harris also served as a Research Associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the Advanced Technology (AT) Division working on state-of-the-art, space-based weapon defense systems. His responsibilities included the design, development, and integration of computer control systems to automate and remotely operate directed-energy weapons and associated support systems in a test-bed environment.
Dr. Harris currently serves as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at CTSI. He welcomes any questions and input regarding all aspects of advanced computing, advanced networking, and cybersecurity.
