History of CTSI

In 1985, David D. Baucum and Craig G. Alley founded CTSI in Lubbock, Texas. They responded to customer requests for highly specialized expertise in areas such as computerized accounting solutions and network development. David and Craig began to assemble a group of highly skilled experts capable of providing the best hardware and software support in West Texas.

Propelled by their success integrating technology for clients in the accounting, medical and legal fields, CTSI made the decision to increase its presence in small business computing solutions. Beginning in 1992, CTSI became a top-tier solutions provider to businesses across the region.

This venture has grown and adapted over the years to provide solutions of increasing complexity, leveraging years of experience, countless hours of training, and strategic value-added alliances to benefit a diverse client base. CTSI has worked with clients in numerous business fields, including, but not limited to: agriculture, education, financial and banking, government, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, non-profit, oil and gas, real estate, restaurants, retail, small business, legal, and transportation.

In 2009, CTSI became the first company in the State of Texas to receive the CompTIA Security Trustmark, a certification indicative of CTSI's ongoing dedication to enforcing proper security measures for their and their clients' data.

CTSI’s two decades of excellence in the region are a testament to the company’s long-standing commitment to helping customers improve their lives and business success through integrated solutions and professional services.
