| From David's Desk... |

Christmas is fast approaching. As we gather with family and friends in the coming days and weeks, it is important that we remember the true meaning of Christmas: the miracle manifested in Jesus Christ, who came to this earth amid the humblest of beginnings and rose to have the greatest impact that anyone has accomplished on earth. As such, I want to let you know that CTSI will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, so that our team members may celebrate those holidays with their families.
Our blessings are many: our regional economy is faring better than the majority of the country, there are some signs of recovery, and the United States is still the greatest nation in the world. We at CTSI are thankful for the relationships we have with you. Whether you're a longtime client or relatively new to working with CTSI, we appreciate you. We are very blessed that our business continues to grow and prosper allowing us to add team members to better serve our clients. The growth we've experienced comes at a time when many businesses across this nation have reduced their staff or closed their doors. We are grateful for our success, and we will continue to strive to ensure the success of your business as well. CTSI wishes you and your family a very safe and happy holiday season! We look forward to serving you in 2010.
Until next time,
David D. Baucum
President, CTSI

Tips of the Month
|
Some handy time-saving shortcuts for both beginners and experts:
Sometimes you just want to see the Task Manager, which gives you a list of which applications and processes are running, lets you run new programs, and lets you kill programs. Ctrl+Shift+Esc will instantly produce the Task Manager.
If you have a sensitive file or a big file that you don't want taking up disk space, press Shift+Delete to delete it instead. It won't appear in the Trashcan, it's just gone with only one confirmation dialog box to confirm. Change your mind? You can press Ctrl+Z to Undo the delete operation, but don't wait too long.
To search for files and folders on your computer, try Windows key plus F.

What is your title and what do you do at CTSI?
- My title is marketing intern. I work with our partners on joint marketing campaigns, compile the CTSI Tech Times Newsletter, plan CTSI events, and much more.
How long have you been at CTSI?
Tell us about your family, and pets.
- Currently my brother, Jimmy, is living with me while attending South Plains College. I have two adorable dogs. Beau is an eight month old Australian Sheppard mix. Chili is a three year old Miniature Dachshund. They are very entertaining and great company.
What do you do in your free time?
- I am currently attending Texas Tech University. I will be graduating this month with a Business Management degree and a minor in Spanish.
If you weren't working in the business technology sector, what would you be doing?
- I think that party planning or auctioning would be interesting professions to be in.

| Helen's Recipe of the Month |
| Helen Burns, CTSI's Purchasing Manager, has been with the company for the past ten years. In addition to her purchasing duties, Helen serves as our unofficial party coordinator. Helen (with help from our administrative assistant, Nancy Clark) makes sure we celebrate every staff member's birthday as well as various holidays by providing a wide range of delectable treats. Without further ado, from Helen's kitchen to you, here's a recipe--enjoy!
Christmas Wassail

2 quarts apple cider (or juice)
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup red hots
2 cups orange juice
2 cups pineapple juice
1 orange, sliced into thick slices
24 whole cloves
In a large sauce pan or coffee maker, combine the first 5 ingredients & heat until steaming but do not boil. Push the cloves securely into the rind of the orange slices and add them to the simmering liquid. Allow to simmer about an hour, then remove orange slices and cloves before serving. Serves 10-12.
